Color Change

I am so excited because it's SPRING BREAK!!! So I am finally able to post everything I have done over the last two weeks in my new room!! This is my color change and my students change their colors if they are good or if they are bad. I decided to spice it up a little bit though! After every day that the students are at Super Student they will get a star on their clothespin. After 5 stars, they will get a green glitter clothes pin. After 5 perfect days with the green glitter clothespin, they move up to a blue glitter clothespin. The ultimate goal is to have the AWESOME red glitter clothespin. They truly love working for these glitter clothespin!

My next concoction was the noise level chart. At the beginning of every lesson, I would raise or lower the noise level allowed. I have one student who sits close to the the chart so I let them change the noise level when I can't get to it. The students really follow this because they don't want to get in trouble and go down to no voice!

Math Words

So after working with my fabulous fourth graders for a week...I realized they have no idea what key words they need to identify in the word problems. I created several games using flash cards to strengthen their word knowledge. Then I created some magnificent posters and went to office depot and had them blown up to fit on my cabinets. These little things have worked miracles with my students! I hope you can find use out of them. If you would like a copy of these, than you can go to ***My Teachers Notebook ***( select Teachers Notebook) and buy it here for only $1.00! Happy shopping and happy pinning!
